"Meet The Ponies"
These enchanting little 'ponies' should in fact always be referred to as 'horses'. They are American Miniature Horses.
For those of you not familiar with this rare breed of horse they are very tiny - ours are between 27" and 34" high and look just like very fine scaled down large horses. Their size is equal to the size of some miniature shetland ponies but they are entirely different in build. The shetland pony is short legged and very stocky which enables it to carry quite heavy weights. In total contrast the Miniature Horse is long legged, very refined and resembles a miniature arabian horse - they will not carry heavy weights at all.
Their temperaments are second to none and they adore human company as you will soon find out if you visit us.

How many horses do we have here?
Well we have eight horses here at the moment with a possible foal due for Ella in July 2013 (we are not sure yet)
Not all of the horses are used for Pony Parties and we take care to match the temperament of the pony to the age, confidence and experience of the child. (Please note the children DO NOT have to have any horse experience at all to have a fabulous time with us )
